The Elusive Loch
Surreal to think - had we not been launched into a parallel universe sometime in March - I would have been sitting in Gatwick airport right now, waiting for a flight to Peru, a heap of questionable survival items at my feet, whilst questioning all my life choices. Instead, I sat at the edge of that loch I've been trying to find (who knew it's easier to see tracks when it's not blizzarding) and contemplated just how beautiful the Glens around my home are.
It's hardly worth getting upset at a world pandemic throwing your plans out the window. And I don't really have the right to moan when the sight of that elusive loch made me smile so much this morning.
The adventures will just be more plentiful, and the stories more enjoyable. In the meantime, my dog and I will continue to enjoy haphazardly stumbling upon incredible places while I pretend it's all in the name of "training".
Over and out, the runner and her bubble blowing, not so keen on deep water dog.
