Time for cake.

So all in all this week has been highly successful so far! I have remained un-lost, un-sore and most importantly, pretty darn fast! The summery weather has helped obvs, although Wednesday's 8.5 mile run was a touch on the holy-#@!*-I-need-to-get-naked side but hey, we weren't battling snow storms which is a rarity. Plus, this morning's run was stunning up above Lintrathen Loch and had me smiling the rest of the day. I swear, whatever you're doing tomorrow, cancel it and take a walk or a run in the country - there's no way you can regret it right now - unless it's snowing again...in which case do your shopping or whatever.
Also, what's made this week fab is the fact I now have permission from Dundee City Council to set up a cake stall at Armed Forces Day - 27th June - in the City Square! And, what's more, I've already had several coffee shops agree to donate their tempting goodies for the cause. Y'all better be there!!

Next update will, undoubtedly, be a painful and less energetic one after I complete Sunday's gruelling 18 mile run...on my own...

But for now, it's over and out from the still slightly too hot but quite happy runner :)
